I write this as someone who is still just about on the right side of 40 and as someone who still loves a night out and, while I don't want to sound old or that I'm ready for pipe, slippers and a bag of Werther's Originals - they really don't make them like they used to! ![]() While you'll still struggle to find a more enjoyable night out than Newcastle, the places where Geordies head to party have changed a lot, even over the last decade or so, with some iconic city bars now very much a thing of the past.
